Technology Analyst / Consultant

As a member of our consulting practice, you’ll work alongside some of the leading consultants in the industry which today forms the largest automation practice in Singapore. You’ll collaborate with your team members on challenging projects, increasing your understanding of complex business problems and how you can solve them through technology. You would develop new skills and experience in areas such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Analytics, Cognitive Automation (AI skills such as intelligent document processing, text classification, NLP, Sentiment Analysis, etc.), and Cloud to further your career.

Work you'll do

You would work on automation and analytics projects for leading organizations across different industry verticals such as Government, Defense, Education, Healthcare, Real Estate, Banking & Finance, Transport & Logistics, Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology.  

 

You would work on one or more technology domains such as RPA, Analytics, Cognitive Automation, Process Mining, Low Code Apps and Cloud. You would develop and enhance your technical skills and get certified in leading technologies such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Azure/AWS Cloud and ML Services, Dataiku, Python, etc. 

 

You would also gain experience in setting up Centre of Excellence, building internal capability and driving organizational change for leading organizations. 

At your projects, you would work on the functional and technical automation design, building software robots, training ML models, building visualizations, etc. The typical responsibilities would include: 

  • Interact with various Process Subject Matter Experts (SME) from the business to define requirements required for the solution design. 

  • Design, develop, test and deploy solutions and create reusable components/codes that adhere to SimplifyNext's best practices. 

  • Implement and configure programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand in accordance with best practices and standards. 

  • Conduct user accepting testing with the Process SMEs, ensuring that solution has fulfilled the requirements. 

  • Support existing automations and implement change requirements. 

 

Additional responsibilities as a Technology Consultant would include: 

  • Lead your work stream while coaching and mentoring your team of Analysts. 

  • Project reporting and managing project risks and issues. 

  • Client stakeholder management with the guidance of your Manager. 

  • Process Discovery and Assessments to identify new use cases for automation. 

  • Conduct Automation and Analytics trainings with the guidance of Lead Trainers. 

 

As you gain more experience, your responsibilities can be tailored to suit your aspirations. For e.g., if you prefer to have deep technology specializations then you can choose the Architect path and if you prefer functional or project management specializations, then you can choose those paths as well. 

Qualifications for Consultants

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 3 years’ experience at a consulting or a technology organization. 

  • Excellent communications and inter-personal skills, and passion to deliver quality work. 

  • Strong logical approach and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Azure/AWS Cloud and ML Services, Dataiku, Python, VB.NET, C#, etc. 

  • Good programming, designing, coding, testing and debugging skills OR strong functional skills in automation or analytics 

Qualifications for Analysts

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1 to 2 years’ work experience. 

  • Excellent communications and inter-personal skills. 

  • Strong logical approach and problem-solving skills. 

  • Quick learner and passionate about technology.

You would be involved in setting up Centre of Excellence, building internal capability and driving organizational change for leading organizations. 

We have two career paths at Manager and Associate Manager levels: Digital Architect and Project Management. You can choose the right career path that suits your experience, strengths, and aspirations. You would also have a career counsellor assigned to you, with whom you can discuss such matters and further your own career. 

 

The typical responsibilities within the Project Management track include: 

  • Manage standard project management activities around scope, timeline, quality, resource, and budget. 

  • Work closely with Customer stakeholders in delivering successful project outcomes. 

  • Manage, coach and mentor your team. Facilitate the right environment for them to thrive and be successful. 

  • Be the Automation and Analytics ambassador! Work with customer sponsors and project managers to help scale automation and analytics and make a real difference to their business and their employees. 

  • Build industry knowledge or functional domain (e.g., finance, procurement, HR, etc.) knowledge. 

  • Learn the ropes of being a strong business operator – managing the project P&L, meeting financial targets, building customer relationships, and making your customers counterparts successful. 

 

The typical responsibilities within the Digital Architect track include: 

  • Work towards being the Thought Leader in the chosen domain! 

  • Involved in Design and Build QA at the projects. 

  • Lead technical delivery, while guiding junior team members. 

  • Explore new technologies/products or new capabilities within existing technologies/products, conduct PoCs/demos, webinars, etc. 

  • Take the lead in building internal capabilities. 

 

For both the tracks, additional responsibilities at Technology Manager level would include: 

  • Work closely with Sales team on pre-sales activities such as customer presentations, process discovery workshops, prepare proposals, etc. 

  • Lead and build Community of Practices. 

  • Act as Career Counsellor for Analysts, Consultants and Assistant Managers. 

  • Be closely involved in performance appraisals and defining development/training plans. 

  • Build long-term relationship with our customers. 

  • Be responsible for cultivating a positive, inclusive culture at SimplifyNext. 

Qualifications

The following should be seen as only a guidance and not mandatory requirements. 

  • 8 to 10 years’ experience at a consulting or a technology organization for Manager. 

  • 5 to 8 years’ experience at a consulting or a technology organization for Assistant Manager. 

  • Proven track record in delivering projects in the area of Automation and Analytics. 

  • Certifications in the one or more of the technology products - UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Azure/AWS Cloud and ML Services, Dataiku, etc. 

  • Project Management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2. 

  • Excellent communications and inter-personal skills, and passion to deliver quality work.

Business Development Consultant

At SimplifyNext, we’re seeking a dynamic business development consultant to extend our reach through discovery and exploration of new business opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help define innovative solutions for our clients to achieve the required business outcome. With a keen eye to understand and propose solutions for clients, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision in this high-growth environment. 

Objectives of this Role

 

  • Identify market trends and customer needs. 

  • Develop strategies and positions by analysing new technologies, solutions, and/or products. 

  • Work closely with our sales executives to managing both our existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities. 

  • Take a lead role in the development of solutions and presentations of new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships. 

  • Analyse available data, track performance, and report key metrics. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement outbound business development strategy, processes, structure, and best practices across the company. 

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers; meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy. 

  • Screen potential business opportunities, discussing with our Solution Architects to decide on the best solution to be presented to our clients. 

  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed requirements, solution architecture, key outcomes, and deliverables. 

  • Define, lead, and manage Proof of Concepts and Prototyping activities 

  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, mathematics, or engineering with 2-4 years of experience in the relevant fields. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Working experience with technical solutioning and understand the sales pipeline. 

  • Proficiency with data analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting or programming background (Python, Java, C++, R). 

  • Experience with Analytics software (i.e., Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku, Data Robot). 

  • Ability to develop and deliver messages to clients.

Sales / Client Manager

The Client/Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales including account penetration, prospect qualification, sales process planning, and closing all sales opportunities in the Enterprise Sector. This role will focus on building deep and trusted business relationships with new and existing clients to help them scale automation and analytics - in the process transforming the way they work and making a real difference to their business as well as their employees.

 

The role requires the individual to act as a trusted client advisor and bring together the relevant expertise and thought leadership from within SimplifyNext to deliver successful outcomes for our clients as well as SimplifyNext.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Grow the portfolio of clients within the Enterprise Sector

  • Take primary responsibility for the client and act as internal client owner within assigned accounts

  • Create comprehensive client business plans to build a stable, growing pipeline of current and future business opportunities

  • Collaboratively work with internal teams as well as our technology partners to successfully position the solutions and/or services and see the opportunity through to closure

  • Lead business negotiations for contracts focusing on win-win outcomes for both the clients and SimplifyNext

  • Maintain a high level of the relevant industry, product, and service knowledge to have meaningful conversations and generally stay ahead of trends

  • Take an active role in defining the GTM plan for the Enterprise Sector

  • Track and manage the entire sales process and account management activities with the support of pre-sales architect and project managers.

  • Be accountable for the achievement of sales and revenue targets

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma

  • At least 3 years of relevant technology sales experience in the Singapore Enterprise Sector

  • Strong people networking and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • In-depth knowledge of sales cycle and ability to source new prospects and scale existing accounts

  • Experience in selling to senior client stakeholders

  • Ability to pro-actively and independently identify and qualify opportunities

  • Proven sales record with established relationships within Enterprise Sector

  • Quick learner to understand any new solutions that are ready to take to market
